A. Removing the Old UJ Cross

Secure the Drive Shaft: Place the shaft on a sturdy workbench or vise.
Remove the Circlips: Use circlip pliers to remove the locking clips from the bearing caps.
Tap Out the Bearing Caps:
- Use a drift pin and hammer to tap the UJ cross out from one side.
- Once one cap is removed, push the cross sideways and remove the second cap.
Repeat for the Other Side: Remove all four bearing caps carefully.

B. Installing the New UJ Cross

Clean the Yoke & Bearing Caps: Ensure no dirt or debris is inside the yoke holes.
Apply Grease: Lightly grease the needle rollers inside the new bearing caps.
Insert the UJ Cross: Position the new cross inside the yoke, ensuring correct alignment.
Install the First Bearing Cap:
- Slide a bearing cap into one side and gently tap it in.
